Throughout different period, the New Princess Dolls always changed their look and role according to the perspective of women in the generation. From being a baby to the actual role of what the society perceive women to play in the society. There was a period when the Princess Dolls were made a baby to its owner, which was when nursing and caring are what the women were perceived to be. It was expected that the girls grow up to be a housewife and being a caring mother.
